Snip by Pelamiin lets guests at weddings and engagements share photos with the host. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep, who can see it and when it is deleted.
What we collect
- The photos and videos you share.
- Your name, if you give it (some hosts ask for it).
- Your wish to the host, if you write one.
- The time you shared it.
- A scrambled device code made from your connection and browser. It only stops spam and limits uploads per phone; it can’t be turned back into who you are.
Guests never create an account. We don’t ask for your email, phone number or payment details.
Location
Phones often hide your location inside a photo. We remove that location data the moment a photo arrives, before it is stored.
Who can see it
- Anyone with the event’s guest link (and PIN, if the host set one) can see the gallery, with your name under your photo and your wish when a photo is opened.
- The host can hide or delete any photo.
- Pelamiin staff can see it to run and support the event.
We don’t sell your photos or details, and we don’t share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Photos stay while the gallery is open. Everything is deleted automatically 30 days after the gallery closes. Copies the host downloaded before then are theirs to keep.
On your phone
We remember your name, your light or dark choice and whether you’ve seen the welcome screen, in your browser only. A security cookie keeps the page safe while you use it. There are no ads, trackers or analytics.
Fonts load from Bunny Fonts, a privacy-friendly font service.
Your choices
To remove a photo, your name or a wish, ask the host, or email us at hello@pelamiin.my with the event and photo. We handle personal data under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
